Allards at Keeneland

One of the special classes at this year's Keeneland Concours d'Elegance featured Allards. Sydney Herbert Allard raced motorcycles and three wheel Morgans prior to World War II. During and after the war he ran a shop specializing in the repair of military vehicles. And during it all he managed to design and produce some amazing sports cars like this 1953 K3 which was one of only 62 built.

Also part of this class was this 1952 J2X that won Best in Class, a 1950 J2, a 1949 M, a 1948 K1 Sports, a 1952 J2X, a 1949 M, a 1951 K2, a 1948 Coupe, a 1952 K2, and a 1947 K1.
