Last Post of 2017

Today is not only my last post from this year's Pumpkin Run Nationals (for now) it is also my last post of the year. This was a great year in shows around the region and I feel lucky to have taken part in so many. There's no better way to wrap up the year than with one final collection from the 41st Annual Pumpkin Run Nationals. What could be better than a 1929 Ford, a '40 Ford Convertible, a 1924 International Model 43 hauler, a couple of pre-war beauties, a racer and a couple of customs. Happy New Year folks.

Fords At the Pumpking Run Nationals

The Fantastiques Rod and Custom Car Club do a fantastic (if you'll pardon the pun) job or running the Pumpkin Run Nationals each year. This year over 2600 cars rolled into the Clermont County Fair Grounds, many of them heading to the For area. Included in this group was a beautiful early station wagon, a nice looking customized Model T, a chopped post-war V 8, an early Ford van, a 1930 Ford convertible, an actual retired 1962 police cruiser, a Victoria sedan, a customized coupe, and one of the first Fords to roll off the line following World War II.

Chevy At the Pumpkin Run Nationals

Each year at the Pumpkin Run Nationals there are a huge number of Chevy cars and trucks that are parked in Bowtie Country. This year was no different. There were plenty of Novas and Chevelles, some Impalas and Malibus, a 1937 coupe, and a Corvair among others.

Another Week At the Pumpkin Run Nationals

I'm back for another week of posts from the Pumpkin Run Nationals. This will close out this calendar year. Among the more than 2600 cars from 1974 or before that were on display there were so many great examples of every make, model, and style. They ranged from pre-war Chevrolets and Fords to rat rods to mint Studebakers to some customs and everything in between.

Caddys At the Pumpkin Run Nationals

One of the great joys of every Pumpkin Run Nationals is the number of beautiful old Cadillacs that are on display. To close out the week here are some of those fantastic machines, including one of those iconic pink numbers.
