Corvettes Sailed To the Pumpkin Run

Today most people aren't aware that a corvette is the classification for the smallest war ship, But back in 1953, just eight years since the end of World War II when Chevrolet introduced a two seat sports car to compete with the European imports, people were aware of it. This was, figuratively, General Motors and Chevy going to war against the British and Italian sports cars that had started to flood America. There were plenty of Vettes on hand for the 49th Pumpkin Run Nationals sponsored by the Fastiques Rod and Custom Car Club. Here are some of them.
