As is the case with most car shows, the 49th Annual Pumpkin Run Nationals, sponsored by the Fastiques Rod and Customs Car Club, is held every year in order to raise funds for various charities. The main charity is the Shriner's Hospital, but numerous local charities also benefit from this three-day event. This year nearly 3000 cars and trucks, all made in 1974 or before, filled the Clermont County Fairgrounds. Among them was a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass, a Buick Skylark convertible, a Buick Skylark sedan, a Ford Deluxe, a Dodge Charger R/T, a 1964 Chevrolet Biscayne, a 1966 Olds Cutlass, and a Plymouth Fury Golden Commando.
