Chevrolet introduced the Impala in 1958 as their top of the line full size car above the Bel Air. It holds the distinction of being introduced three different times. In addition to its first run, that lasted through the 1985 model year, it was retired until 1994 when it was re-introduced and ran for two years. Then in 2000 Chevy brought the Impala name back and saw a successful run through the 2020 model year. Not as popular at old car events as some other Chevy products, the Impala still shows up as it did at the Wheels Back On Monmouth show in Newport. Here are the Impalas that were on hand that day.
