One of the parks in my township had their annual Trunk or Treat event this past weekend. I always like to go and it's even more fun taking my granddaughter. The number of cars is kept low and each owner is expected to dress their ride for the holiday. Kids show up in costume (my granddaughter came as a princess since she is totally into the Disney princesses) and go from car to car to get some candy. In addition to the candy there are game booths set up, a DJ playing music and conducting contests and competitions. In all this is a nice October event for the community that just happens to bring out some nice cars. Taking part this year was a late model Pontiac as well as a Chrysler. Also on display was a Ford Customline, a Chevy Corvette, a couple of Oldsmobiles including a station wagon, and a slick Pontiac GTO convertible.
