More Mustangs At the Labor of Love

For the second day in a row I am posting photos of Ford Mustangs that I took at the Labor of Love Show held by the Boarder Lords in order to raise money for the Shriner's Hospital. I rarely ever post groups of the same model back to back, preferring to break them up but I'm doing something a little different here. So you Mustang fans enjoy the many great cars.

Hot Rods At the Labor of Love: Part 2

A good open show always brings out a good selection of great customs and street rods. The Labor of Love show was no different. Just look at what the owner did to what was once a stock Willys. Then look at the other cars in this post. Let me know what you think of these by either leaving a comment (no advertising, please) or drop me an email at turnerbudds@yahoo.com.

Hot Rods At the Labor of Love: Part 1

A number of folks brought out their custom rides and rods to help support the Border Lords and the Labor of Love show in raising money for the Shriner's Hospital. Today and tomorrow I'll be posting some of them. Let me know what you think with a comment.

A Show To Support a Good Cause

It is obvious that people involved in the old car hobby are good people. Just about every car event you attend is being held in order to raise funds for some worthy cause or another. In the case of the Labor of Love show put on by the Border Lords the cause is the Shriner's Hospital. And with around 100 great automobiles rolling out the car club succeeded in their goal. Among the many great rides that turned out was this 1967 Chevy Nova SS, a Chevy II, a second generation Ford Thunderbird, an Impala, a Pontiac Fiero, a Chevy Monte Carlo, and a Dodge Dart Swinger.

Still More Great Cars At Labor of Love

The Labor of Love car show put on by the Border Lords in order to raise money to support Shriner's Hospital managed to bring out around 100 cars. One of them was this beautiful 1967 Oldsmobile 442. Olds introduced the 442 in 1964 as an option package for the Cutlass and it became it's own model in 1968. The name stands for the four barrel carburetor, the four speed manual transmission and the dual exhausts. Also at the show was a 1972 Chevy Chevelle, a 1965 Ford Thunderbird, a Pontiac GTO convertible, a well used International Harvester KB 2 truck, a newer re-issued T-Bird, and an Impala.
