Urbancrest Baptist Church Car, Truck and Bike Show

This 1970 Buick Skylark was the first car I saw at the Urbancrest Baptist Church Car, Truck and Bike Show. And that was in the parking lot, not the show lot which should tell you a bit about this event. Though it is on the far reaches of the city of Lebanon it always attracts a large group of amazing vehicles. Also on display this year was a 1981 Chevy Malibu, a 1969 Camaro Z-28, a Chevelle, a 1966 Ford Bronco, and a 1966 Chevy II.

Wrapping Up the 15th City of Blue Ash and Untouchables Classic Car Club Car Show

The City of Blue Ash and the Untouchables Classic Car Club Classic Car Show is always one of my favorites for the year. There are many reasons for this but like all shows it ultimately comes down to the cars that come out to show off. If you haven't been following the blog lately take a few minutes and scroll back over the past week or so and check out some of the cars and trucks that showed up. Let me know what you think of this collection by either leaving a comment (no ads please) or by dropping me an email at turnerbudds@yahoo.com. As for today's group, we have a sweet looking Buick Grand National, a stunning Pontiac Firebird convertible, a Buick Riviera convertible, and a very nicely custom Plymouth PT Cruiser.

An Untouchable Car Club

The City of Blue Ash and Untouchables Classic Car Club Classic Car Show is one of my absolute favorites to attend each summer. No, it isn't the biggest nor does it feature the most exotic collection of cars. What makes this event so special, for me at least, is the sponsoring club. Over the years I've met a number of the Untouchable members and even the ones I don't know well always offer a greeting, a smile and within a couple of minutes there are stories and laughter. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way because I see this kind of banter all over the show field.

It also helps, I think, to bring out owners and their cars to support this group and their causes. Among the great cars on display was this 1969 Buick Electra 225, a new generation Chevy Camaro, 1965 generation Ford Mustang, a 1936 Ford Roadster, a first generation Camaro, a Shelby Mustang, and a 1968 Chevelle.
