Racers at the Cincinnati Concours

While most of us will think of Porsche as perhaps one of the greatest sports car manufacturers off all time, the truth is their reputation was earned and cemented on the race track. For that reason the 41st Annual Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance, as part of the feature marque, 7 Decades of Porsche, had a special class just for racers. Included in this class was a 1958 356 that has been unrestored and is in its original racing condition.
There was a 1959 719 RSK Spyder, one of only six center drive RSKs ever made and one of only four known to exist. This was a winner at Amelia Island.
This 1961 356 B Abarath Carrera GTL is one of only 20 made. It sports Italian design by Franco Scaglione, famed for so many Ferraris. This car won two Swedish championships.
Here is a 1964 904 Carrera GTS. Only about 120 were built to compete in FIA GT racing.
This 1967 911 R is one of only three of these racing cars ever built. This is the last of the three.
Number two of 23 ever built, this 1984 962 set the track record and won the pole for the 12 hour race at Sebring in 1985.
One of only 20 911 SC/RS cars ever built, this 1984 racer was built for the Rothmans-Porsche factory racing team.
This 2010 GT3 Porsche Cup car is a factory racer built on the 911 GT3 S. While is was based on that car it is far different with special racing features.
