Cariots Of the Past

Nearly a decade ago I stumbled across a show called Chariots of the Past. Though it took a little bit of a drive to get there I wanted to check it out. The show was great with a large turnout in a nice grassy field featuring a very nice variety of vehicles. Unfortunately I never saw anything else about the show again and have been unable to find any other information. So for the next several posts I'm going to put up the pictures from that show that I took that day.

Among the great cars on display was a 1939 Zephyr, a 1929 Mercedes replica, a 1949 Chevy Coupe, a 1950 Pontiac, a 1981 Ferrari 308, a 1988 Porsche 944, and a Ford Maverick very similar to one I owned in high school.

Station Wagons and Trucks At Blue Ash

It's always great to see the folks who are collecting the old station wagons and pick up trucks, especially when they show up in large numbers the way they usually do at the City of Blue Ash and the Untouchables Car Club annual show. Here we have a 1956 Chrysler New Yorker wagon, a Chevy wagon, and a 1948 Ford F 1 pick up.

Some Orphan GM Cars At Blue Ash

Anyone who follows this blog knows I really like orphan cars, those brands that are no longer with us. All collector cars are important to maintain our history but to me the orphans are hugely important. I've also not been shy about sharing my fondness for old Pontiacs. Well today we have some of those and also a great old Olds. We have a 1967 Bonneville convertible, a couple Firebirds, a GTO, and a couple Oldsmobile 442s.
