Glendale Gathering

The Annual Glendale Gathering is something of a mini-coucours. So many great automobiles show up and in so many different styles that it's safe to give it that label. Especially when so many of these cars have been part of regional concours events.

This year was no different as is evident by these Ford street rods, a highly custom Dodge pick-up, a 1955 Buick Riviera, a 1948 Pontiac Torpedo, a 1942 Pontiac Torpedo, a 1963 Ford Thunderbird, and a 1935 Auburn 851.

A Show For Shriner's Charities

The 9th Annual Shriner's Car and Bike Show, like most things the organization does, raised money for the various charities supported by the Shriners. One of the biggest is the Shrine Burns Institute which treats children and adults from all over the world. So it was no wonder people braved the hot humid weather to bring out such beautiful cars as this 1974 Dodge Challenger. Also on display was a 1979 Chevy Corvette, a few Ford Mustangs,  a 1967 Ford Fairlane, and an AMC Gremlin.
