Some Pontiacs At Headin' For the Hill

This season I've noticed a lot of Pontiacs being put on display at various shows around the region. The Headin' For the Hill show was no exception. There were Trans Ams, Le Mans, GTOs and more, all looking great. I love seeing these orphan car lines being taken care of.

Hot Cars on a Hot Day

The 9th Annual Headin' For the Hill classic car show in North College Hill brought out about 140 of the hottest, coolest cars in the region. Included in that group was a beautiful Ford Mustang, a Chevy police cruiser from the Police Museum, an AMC Rebel, a Mustang, a Chevelle, a Dodge Charger, a Ford Galaxie 500, another piece of Dodge muscle, and an Oldsmobile 442.

Headin' For the Hill

For the ninth year in a row the main street in North College Hill was shut down and taken over by classic and collector cars. Headin' For the Hill brought out about 140 fantastic cars on a hot and sticky day. Included among the great rides was a fabulous Cadillac, a Ford Mustang convertible, a Fairlane Sunliner, a Camaro SS, a Dodge Dart Swinger, a Buick Riviera, an Oldsmobile 442, a Mustang drop top, and a 1941 Chevrolet.

The Last From Thunder In the Park

Here are the last of the over 80 cars that were on display at this past year's Thunder In the Park show. Sponsored by the Amelia American Legion Post it raised money for autism research. Some of the cars on display included an Oldsmobile, an actual police cruiser and motorcycle from the Police Museum, a 1953 Ford, a GMC pick up, a couple two door Ford sedans, a not nearly stock Mustang, a 1953 MG TD, and a C 3 Chevy Corvette.

Still More From Thunder In the Park

The Thunder In the Park show was a well organized and well run event. Sponsored by the Amelia American Legion Post and raising money to support autism research, over 80 great cars and trucks rolled out to take part. Included in that group was a 1955 Olds Super 88, a Chevy Camaro SS, a Nova, a Chevy pick up, a 1968 Buick, a not quite stock Ford Mustang, a 1969 Mercury Montego, a 1932 Ford, and my friend Don's concours quality 1961 Studebaker Hawk.
