Clermont Sportsman's Club Cruise-In

There was a time a couple of years ago when the Clermont Sportsman's Club hosted one of the largest end of the season shows. For various reasons it has been changed to a cruise-in. While there were far fewer folks who showed up there were still many quality automobiles. Among those who showed was a Pontiac Firebird right along side a GTO. Also there was a 1955 Ford Fairlane Victoria, a customized Chevy Silvarado, a couple Mustangs, a 1956 Chevy 210, a 1970 Chevelle, and a sweet red GTO.

Model A Fords

At a recent show the Ohio Valley Model A Ford Club showed up en masse. Well, a bunch of them were there at least, probably way more then one would see at a typical open car show. Here are about half of the beautiful Model A Fords that were on display that day.

Mid Century Chevys

There are a number of reasons why there are so many mid century Chevys at car shows. Chevy was the biggest selling brand coming out of War War II. The cars were affordable and, let's face it, looked terrific to eyes so used to seeing what were essentially 1930s designs. Here are a few from a recent show.

More Car Show Trucks

I've written about this in the past but I've been seeing more and more pick up trucks on the fields alongside all of those classic and collectable cars. I don't have a problem with this. In fact, I love the fact that people are taking the time to repair and preserve these hard working vehicles. Here are some varied trucks from a recent show. Included here is a rare Willy's pick-up, some from Chevy and even a Studebaker. Enjoy.

Vettes In Reading

The 10th Annual Show N Tell Car Show brought out a good selection of Chevy Corvettes. Since the show is limited to cars at least 25 years old, it meant that the Vettes that put in an appearance were all classics. Just take a look and see for yourself.

Ohio Valley Region Model A Ford Club

One of the really cool things about the Annual Show N Tell Car Show in Reading is that the Ohio Valley Region Model A Ford Club always makes a strong showing. Today's post shows about half of the cool Model As that rolled out for this show.

A Show For Pre-1995 Cars

The Annual Show N Tell Car Show, now in its 10th year, draws in a good variety of automobiles. There is one stipulation that all cars must be at least 25 years old. That means they are from 1994 or before. This eliminates what I tend to call "parking lot" cars from the show. You know, those rides you can see in the lot at your local grocery store. But it also encourages some really cool cars to take part. This year's show included a 1971 Pontiac LeMans, a Shelby Cobra kit car, a pair of Dodge Super Bees, a 1970 Oldsmobile, a 1968 Oldsmobile, and a 1970 Dodge Challenger RT.
