Chevrolets Were Cruisin' For a Cure

The 3rd Annual Cruisin' For a Cure Car Show in Lawrenceburg brought out over 300 fantastic automobiles including a huge number of Chevys. Today and tomorrow I'll be posting photos of some of those beautiful machines. Among them were some 1966 Chevelles, including one beautiful Impala trimmed model, a couple of El Caminos, a Chevy II, a Monte Carlo and plenty of others.

Imports At Cruisin' For a Cure

To celebrate my birthday, I've assembled some photos of great imports that were all on hand for Cruisin' For a Cure at Lawrenceburg. Among the great cars was a BMW 3 Series, a Volkswagen truck, a Beetle, a late model Bentley, a Honda, an original Mini Cooper, a 1964 Rolls Royce that should look familiar to regular followers of this blog as it's owned by a very dear friend, another Beetle, a Mazda, and a 1987 Mercedes Benz.

Vettes Were Cruisin' For a Cure

Among the over 300 cars that were on display at this year's Cruisin' For a Cure in Lawrenceburg were a large number of Chevy Corvettes. Honestly, how can you have an open car show without a bunch of Vettes showing up? And this was no different.

Fords At Lawrenceburg

 Ford was well represented at this year's 3rd Annual Cruisin' To a Cure in Lawrenceburg. Among the many cars on display was a Pinto, a Starliner, an Econoline van, a 1965 Fairlane, a 1967 Fairlane, a beauty from 1953, a 1969 Galaxie, and a couple of different generation Thunderbirds.

More Mid Century Chevys At Lawrenceburg

The number of mid century Chevys that were on hand at the Lawrenceburg Classic Car Show could have put on a show all by themselves. But when several hundred other cars are on hand you can only be amazed by the quality of the Chevys on display.

Bel Airs At Lawrenceburg

Among the hundreds of cars that packed the downtown area of Lawrenceburg were a very large gathering of Chevy Bel Airs and other mid century Bow Tie vintage rides. Today and tomorrow I'll be posting a bunch of photos of many of these great cars.

Back To Lawrenceberg

It's time to head back to the great show this spring in Lawrenceburg. The downtown area of this small river city was literally shut down to accommodate all of the great cars that were on display. That's why, for the next couple of weeks, I'll be posting more photos from that amazing show. Today we get a look at some customs and street rods as well as a couple of pretty sweet low riders.
