The City of Blue Ash and the Untouchables Car Club Classic Car Show

The city of Blue Ash teams up with the Untouchables Car Club to put on their annual car show that, though not the biggest, is one of the more popular among old car enthusiasts. Held in Oakwood Park, a location that allows for most cars to be parked on the grass rather than blacktop and and many to be shaded, this show offers up some great automobiles. Among them was a beautiful 1964 Studebaker Daytona convertible, a 1969 Pontiac, a Chevy Impala, a Ford Mustang convertible, a Chevy Camaro, a Monte Carlo, and a 1948 Ford Sedan.

Wrapping Up the ACE Car Show

Set in beautiful Armco Park in Warren County, the ACE Car Show traditionally draws some of the largest numbers of amazing vehicles. Vettes Were All Aces At the ACE Car Show

 Any open car show is bound to draw some Chevy Corvettes. The ACE Car Show was no different as a number of Vettes, including this beautiful 1964 C2 as well as some C3 models and a couple of C4s, were on hand. Here are some of the Vettes from the show.

Some Expected and Some Unexpected Gems At the ACE Car Show

 Go to any open car event and you will expect to see some of what I refer to as the "usual suspects." These are the popular and plentiful cars that decorate the field at most shows. What adds to the delight of seeing these metal masterpieces is when something unexpected shows up. The ACE Car Show had some of each of these. Among them was a 1956 Dodge Royal, an Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight, a Packard One Twenty, along with some of the usual cars such as a 1966 Ford Thunderbird, a Chevy Impala, and a Nova Super Sport.

The ACE Car Show Hosted An Impressive Collection of Customs

Since the very beginning people have been making changes to their automobiles for various reasons. Sometimes it was to adapt to a specific job or type of environment but following the end of World War II folks started essentially making brand new vehicles out of old cars and their parts. These customs have become an art form in and of themself. The ACE Car Show saw a strong collection of custom vehicles on hand including a sweet looking 1928 Ford Model A. Here are some of the other customs that were on hand.

Variety At the ACE Car Show

 

Since its beginnings in 1979, the ACE Car Show has managed to bring in quite a variety of automobiles to be enjoyed at Armco Park. For example, here is a 1970 Buick GS Stage 1, a Ford Thunderbird convertible, and a T-Bird hard top, a 1968 Plymouth Road Runner, a Chevy El Camino, and a Pontiac GTO.
