Spreading Awareness Of Law Enforcement

 Most people don't fully know or understand all that is involved in law enforcement. That's one reason why the Greene Township Police Department wanted to spread awareness of what it does to citizens in the area. They created the Police Citizen's Academy and to help fund it they created a car show. The show brought in a number of really great cars such as a Chrysler Windsor, a 1960 Chevy Impala, an Oldsmobile Cutlass, a Camaro, a Cutlass convertible, and a customized 1939 Ford Deluxe.

Green Township Police Citizen's Academy Show

 Nestled to the west of Cincinnati, Green Township is one of the larger communities in the area. In 2005 it established what they dubbed the Police Citizen's Academy to help educate residents about how the police force operates. In order to support the program they held an impressive car show what drew the likes of a 1955 Dodge Lancer, a C3 Chevy Corvette, a Cobra kit car, a 1957 Bel Air, a 1964 Vette, and another C3.

A Small But Nice Show In East Fork

 East Fork State Park is over 800 acres large but for one day it hosted a small gathering of some nice looking automobiles. On hand for the event was a Buick Roadmaster, a Chevy Nova, a 1938 Buick (yes, the suicide doors were part of the original, factory design), a 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger, a C4 Corvette, a Charger, and a 1937 Plymouth which also had factory standard suicide doors.

East Fork Lake Host A Small Auto Get Together

 East Fork State Park is a lush area filled with all sorts of nature related activities including hiking, biking, boating, camping, a beach, and much more. But for one day they attracted a handful of classic and collector car lovers who put their prizes on display. Among the cars that showed up was an Oldsmobile Cutlass, a Chevy Chevelle with the Malibu trim (yes, the Malibu started as a trim), a Ford Model T, a Mustang, a 19546 Bel Air, a Customized Model T, a 1946 Chevy Stylemaster, an Impala, and another Mustang.

Wrapping Up Cruise-A-Palooza

 When a show draws well over 100 vehicles it takes a while to post them but today I'm finally wrapping up the Cruise-A-Palooza show. If you haven't been following these posts I suggest you scroll back and check out the fantastic classic and collector cars and trucks that were on hand for this event. A Great Variety Rolled Into Cruise-A-Palooza

Every car enthusiast has their own special preferences in make and model. Some are fairly common sights at car events all over while others are rarely seen. That's one of the beauties of a large open show like Cruise-A-Palooza. You will get a good helping of the regular suspects but there are also some that are almost never seen. For example, here is a 1961 Nash Metropolitan, along with a Chevy Camaro Super Sport, a 1970 Dodge Challenger, a Plymouth Duster, a Lotus Elise, a Ford Mustang, and a Chevelle SS.

More Great Cars Rolled In For Cruise-A-Palooza

With well in excess of 100 cars and trucks on hand for this iteration of the Cruise-A-Palooza show it's little wonder there were so many cool rides on hand. Since it's held on Labor Day weekend, over the years this has become one of the more popular events in the region as people want to get out their classic and collector cars and take advantage of as much good weather as they can. This year's offering attracted some beauties such as this 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II. The Deuce, as it was often called, was a compact car that premiered in 1962 and featured a top trim by the name of Nova. While the Nova name is probably more widely known, the Deuce was a popular and fun car. Also on display was a slightly modified 1940 Chevy coupe, a Pontiac Firebird, a 1951 Chevy station wagon, a Ford Mustang convertible, an Oldsmobile 442, and a Fox bodied Mustang.
