Merry Christmas

It's Christmas and how about we check out more great old cars. The 30the Annual Bethel American Legion Post 406 Car Show saw in excess of 100 vehicles put on display. Obviously, with that many great rides some are going to be older than others. Here are a few of those really old timers. On the field was a 1947 Ford Deluxe, a 1955 Chevy Bel Air, a Plymouth coupe, another '55 Bel Air, a modified Model A, a 1943 Ford sedan, and more.

Christmas Eve

 It's Christmas Eve! What is better to get on Christmas than a new car? Well the 30th Annual Bethel American Legion Post 46 Car Show had quite a few. Here are some of them, including a Dodge Challenger, a brand new C8 Corvette, another Camaro, a 2016 Cadillac, a C7 Vette, another C8, and a Dodge Challenger SRT.

There Had To Be Vettes At Bethel

Any open show worth its salt is going to have a selection of Chevrolet Corvettes on hand and the 30th Annual Bethel American Legion Post 406 Car Show was no exception. Sitting among the over 100 cars on the Post's lawn was a nice selection of Vettes from different generations including this beautiful C1, a couple of C2 models, a C3 and even a C4.

Mustangs Rode To Support the American Legion

The Ford Mustang is the very definition of a Pony Car.. The long nose and short rear became the formula for other car makers to imitate. Yes, it's true that the Mustang was beaten to the market by two weeks by the Plymouth Barracuda, yet no competition sold the way this pony did. Perhaps that's why there are always a good selection of Mustangs on hand at any show. The 30th Annual Bethel American Legion Post 406 Car Show was no exception. Here are a few of the 'Stangs that were on display on this beautiful day.

The 30the Annual Bethel America Legion Post 406 Car Show drew in over 100 great vehicles including a nice collection of customs and street rods. Here are some of the ones that were at the post that day.

Return to Bethel American Legion Post 406

For the 30th year the Bethal American Legion Post 406 hosted its annual car show. This year it came with outstanding weather. This was only the second time I attended this event and last year it was massive. This year it saw a smaller turnout but still managed to bring in over 100 great vehicles. Among them was a 1965 Chevy Nova station wagon, a very rare 1967 King Midget Model 3, a Camaro, an Oldsmobile that had been used as a taxi cab, an Olds Cutlass Broughm, a 442, another Cutlass, and a 1967 Nova SS.

Wrapping Up the Route 42 Car Show

Despite having a hot, humid day with the heat index topping 100 degrees, the 9th Annual Route 42 Car Show held at Lifehouse Church in support of the Lebanon and Waynesville Lions Clubs could be called a success. In all the show managed to draw over 130 great vehicles. Among them was a Plymouth Satellite convertible, a well worn Oldsmobile, a Ford Torino, a Pontiac Fiero, a Chevy Camaro, and a 1971 Volkswagen Beetle. Hope you enjoyed this show.
