An Improvement Over Last Year

Though only about 120 cars showed up for this year's annual Cruise-A-Palooza it was still an improvement over last year's event. Last year torrential storms passing through caused the show to be cancelled. This year it rained for a couple of days before and the threat of more moisture hung heavily in the air. Traditionally Cruise-A-Palooza brings out a lot of rare and unique vehicles, often showing up on trailers rather than being driven to the banks of the Ohio River. Those cars, unfortunately, stayed away this year despite the fact that the day turned beautiful. Still, those 120 or so cars that did take the gamble were well received by those of us wandering through the grassy show.
