My friend Dave Yaros recently posted the October issue of the Car Collector Cronicles (http://www.scribd.com/doc/283148299/Car-Collector-Chronicles-10-15). Like me, Dave does this for the love of old cars and he is well worth following. If you aren't already familiar with Dave's monthly e-zine, I suggest that you sign up and start getting them every month.
This month has a fun article referencing a piece on the Hagerty website (https://www.hagerty.com/) about the actual meanings of the names of various cars. It's a fun read. How many of these did you already know? One that neither mentioned is the Corvette, which is the name of the smallest classification of war ship. I know this because, coincidentally, car names is the theme of my article coming out in the October issue of Cincinnati Profile Magazine (http://cincinnatiprofile.com/).
Dave also has a nice article about Oldsmobile Trucks and reminds us of some of the slang from the 1960s. Check out the October issue and go back through the archives and read past installments. They are always a fun read.
