Indiana Made Cars At the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum

A fact that many people don't realize is that in the early days of the automobile industry, Indiana was second only to Michigan in the manufacture of cars. A vast array of companies opened their doors and rolled out a wide variety of cars. Among them was this 1911 Izzer.

Other makes and models that came from Indiana that were on display at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum included a circa 1894 Black, a 1899 Waverly, a 1932 Hayes, a 1901 Hayes-Apperson, a 1920 Apperson, a 1915 Studebaker, a 1932 Studebaker, a 1963 Studebaker Avanti, a 1952 Crosley, a 1920 Lexington (which started in Kentucky), a 1916 Westcott, a 1916 Permier, a 1919 Cole, and a 1924 Marmon.
