Mustangs Ponied Up at the Pumpkin Run Nationals

 


Though it technically wasn't the first "pony car" (the Plymouth Barracuda beat it to the market by about a week), the Ford Mustang holds the distinction of the by far the most successful car given that classification. With a long hood and a short trunk, this sporty car was a massive success from the very beginning, vastly outselling expectations. There were plenty of Mustangs on hand for the Pumpkin Run Nationals, sponsored by the Fastiques Rod and Customs Car Club and held at the Clermont County Fairgrounds. Here are just a few.
