Practically everyone knows the story of the Chevrolet Corvette. Introduced n 1953, this two-seat sports car was designed to stave off the flood of European sports cars that had begun rolling into the USA following World War II. Named after the smallest class of warship, the Vette, as it is commonly known, has sold well and is now in its eighth generation. Corvettes are always popular at open car shows so it was no surprise when more than a couple showed up at the Headin' for the Hills event in North College Hill. Here are some that came out that day.
