Each year around the 4th of July the main street in the township where I live closes down and is lined with people as what has traditionally been the largest Independence Day parade in the area occurs. This year, the parade was held on Saturday the 3rd and was shorter than usual, lasting only about an hour. Still the streets filled up with all of the usual parade fair including some sweet cars. Among the cars decked out and used in the parade was a Cadillac convertible, a 1957 Chevy Bel Air, a 1965 Ford Mustang convertible, an Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible, a Mini Cooper, and a vintage retired military Jeep.
