While the vast majority of the more than 2500 automobiles on display at last season's Pumpkin Run Nationals were American, there were still quite a few that had come in from foreign countries. One of the rarely seen imports at the show was a Datsun 260Z. Also on the field were a number of Volkswagen Beetles (in house known as the Type 2; the car I learned to drive in), a VW Type 3 square back (I briefly had one of these and they were fun for high school dating but were so top heavy they were terrible to drive), and a Triumph TR6.
