The 8th Annual Bryson's Car Show took place with perfect weather recently at the Morrow Arts Center. The show, sponsored by Bryson Auto Repair and Performance was held in support of the Salem Morrow Fire Department and brought out about 150 cars and trucks. Among those on hand was a rarely seen 1949 Willys Jeepster. Introduced the year before it was intended to be a sportier version of the company's CJ or civilian Jeep series but suffered from a lack of four wheel drive and only lasted through the 1950 model year selling a total of fewer than 20,000. The Jeepster name was briefly revived in 1966. Others on hand for this show included a 1980 Mercury Zephyr station wagon, a Jeep Wagoneer, a 1961 Studebaker Hawk that has appeared in multiple concours events, a Chevy Laguna S 3, a McLaren, a 1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass, and a Chevy Blazer.
