I've always been a fan of foreign cars. Growing up there weren't that many around and so getting to see something that different and exotic was exciting. Today's car market offers up a lot more foreign brands, even though those cars are most likely made in the USA. So when I go to an old car event and see a bunch of cool old imports, I get excited. The 33rd Annual Rollin' On the River event held at Fernbank Park brought in a nice selection of foreign made automobiles. Among them was an absolutely stunning Porsche 356, a V8 powered two seater British Sunbeam Tiger, a Jaguar E Type (the car Enzo Ferrari called the most beautiful car in the world), a 1973 MGB, a 1952 MG TD, and a 1970 MGB.
Whether they're the great classics, ultimate collectors, overlooked and forgotten, or even brand new cars I want to talk about them. Feel free to leave a comment or, better yet, drop me an email at turnerbudds@yahoo.com.
