The Downtown Throw Down

 

This year's Downtown Throw Down was the victim of bad weather. Over the past few years this event has been a major draw late in the area's car show season. This year, because of rain, only about 30 vehicles showed up to help support the Southwest Ohio VFW Memorial Team who does their best to ensure that the graves of fallen veterans are taken care of. Among the cars at this year's event was a mostly unrestored 1941 Pontiac coupe, a 1979 Jeep Cherokee, a 1984 Chevy Chevette, a Mach 1 Ford Mustang, a Mustang Boss 302, a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air station wagon, two different Fox body Mustangs, and a Type 2 Volkswagen mini bus.
