Of the over 200 cars that were on display at the 11th Annual Dayton Concours d'Elegance, those in the Classic Class, cars made between 1930 and 1949, seemed to draw a great deal of attention. It was such a spectacular group that I'm having to dedicate two posts to them. Included in this first post is a 1949 Chrysler Royal which is a true "woodie," a 1940 Chevrolet Cabriolet, a beautiful 1937 Cord 812 SC Phaeton, a 1937 Studebaker Coupe Express, one of only three 1937 Cadillac V 12 Series 85 Town Cars known to exist, a 1935 Rolls Royce Phantom II, a 1932 Rolls Royce Phantom I, and a 1930 Packard 7-34 Speedster Runabout Boattail.
