I've been enamored by foreign cars, especially those from Europe, for most of my life. Growing up in the 1960s and 70s in the American Midwest there just weren't that many around other than the Volkswagen Beetles that dotted the roads including one I got to drive many times. But when a car event on the scale of the 6th Annual Cruisin' For A Cure For ALS show in Lawrenceburg draws over 1000 vehicles then you know there are going to be some imports among those that turn up. Sitting on the streets was a Porsche 924, a Triumph Spitfire 1500, a VW Bug, a Triumph TR4a, another couple of Beetles, and a rarely seen 1963 VW Single Cab pick up.
