Newport, KY is a city with a great deal of interesting history. In many aspects this was Las Vegas before Vegas was legal. Not that the casinos and brothels strewn throughout Newport were legal but with the police and politicians getting a hefty kickback, they turned the other way. Even Bobby Kennedy came to town trying to clean it up but failed.
