The Rides On Monmouth

Each year the city of Newport closed down the heart of their business district to hold one of the region's most anticipated car shows. The Rides on Monmouth is named for the main street through town which is lined with shops and restaurants and even a museum. Eight of the main blocks are shut down and close to 200 cars line Monmouth.

This year's cars featured a Mustang convertible, a Chevelle, a sweet looking custom hot rod, a Camaro SS, a newer model Vette, an old Volkswagen Beatle, a mid 60s Mustang, and a concours quality Camaro Z-28.
