With overnight rain and a sky that looked like it was ready to weep down on AJ Jolley Park at any minute, the Park and Ride For Heroes event actually managed to bring in over 100 vehicles. Organizers, and obviously attendees, continued to monitor the weather reports that kept saying that the skies would clear. They did around noon. Among those that braved the early threat of rain was a 1968 Plymouth Road Runner, a pair of His and Hers Super Bees, a T-Bucket roadster made up to look like the one from American Graffiti, a Chevy Malibu, a 1956 Bel Air, and a Camaro Z28.
Whether they're the great classics, ultimate collectors, overlooked and forgotten, or even brand new cars I want to talk about them. Feel free to leave a comment or, better yet, drop me an email at turnerbudds@yahoo.com.

A Good Turnout For Park And Ride For Heroes Despite Weather
