For much of the first half of the 20th century the Ford Motor Company was far and away the biggest selling automobile brand in the United States. Following World War II, though, things changed. Different manufacturers created new styles and trends and as had been the case, Ford was slow to adapt. Still, even not counting the world-renowned Mustang, Ford created a number of outstanding cars. Many were on display at the 9th Annual Cruisin' to a Cure for ALS show in Lawrenceburg. Among them was a 1952 Mainliner, a 1951 Deluxe Sedan, a 1934 5 window coupe, a 1936 Deluxe Roadster, a Mercury Couger, a 1936 Deluxe, and a Galaxie 500.
