There Were Plenty Of Chevelles At the Pumpkin Run

Chevrolet introduced the mid-sized Chevelle in 1964 and it immediately became one of their top sellers. Smaller than a traditional full size car but sporting many of the same features, the Chevelle popped up just in time to be part of the burgeoning muscle car era. The Super Sport model, like the one see at the top here, was their primary weapon in those muscle car battles. The Chevelle was more than just muscle, though. It came in all kinds of packages from two door and four door coups, sedans, convertibles, and station wagons and even was the basis for the El Camino. The top of the line trim for the Chevelle was the Malibu which ultimately replaced it in 1978. There were plenty of Chevelles that showed up for the Pumpkin Run Nationals. Here are some of them.
