Even More Cars From the 7th Ronnie Cobb Memeorial Car Show

The Ronnie Cobb Memorial Car Show returned after taking two years off due to the Covid pandemic. This was the seventh time this fundraising event was held. Calling it the seventh annual is a little odd, though because of that two years off. While the weather, suffering heat and the threat of rain, kept the numbers down, some interesting and nice cars showed up. This is a 1999 Volvo S70. In the mid 90s Volvo was having deep financial trouble and many thought they were on the verge of going under. Ford owned them and knew they needed an image makeover without spending a ton of money. Using the reliable basics of the 850 they came up with a more appealing body and the S70 was born. Also on display was a first generation Chevy Camaro, a Nova, a street racing Dodge, and an Impala convertible.
