The Super 60s Car Club Brought Out Some Great Machines

Though the Super 60s Car Club is a rather small organization they manage to bring out a good number of great automobiles at their annual show at the Dillonvale Shopping Center. They also partner with others such as the Deer Park Little Wildcats youth football organization whose parents were grilling up burgers, hot dogs, bratts and metts. While the food was tasty (and supported a great cause) most folks came by for the cars. In the lot for the show was a sweet first generation Chevy Camaro Rally Sport convertible. Also on display was a seriously cool van with one of the sharpest custom paint jobs you're likely to see. Sitting with those cars was, of all cars, a McLaren. Beside that super car was a 1949 Chevy pick up truck whose owner told me, with a laugh, that he felt sorry for the guy with the McLaren for having to be outshone by the truck. There was also a 1955 Bel Air, a 1949 Ford Custom, another '55 Bel Air, and a Ford Model A.
