Lower Than Hoped Turnout At The Ronnie Cobb Memorial Car Show

There are a lot of reasons why people either choose to attend or not attend a specific car show. For the 7th Annual Ronnie Cobb Memorial Car Show there were a few reasons why this event saw fewer participants than in the past. For one, this was the firs time the event had been held in three years because of the Covid pandemic. This year the show had changed venues, moving from the Campbell County Fair Grounds to the beautiful A. J. Jolly Park. The weather may have been another factor. The day was unseasonably hot and humid and there was a call for rain later in the day. Add to that the soaring price of gasoline and the show saw about 50 cars. But among that group were some stunners including this 1967 Chevy Nova SS, and a 1966 Pontiac GTO.
