Karmann Ghia Made the Reunion

While the Type 1 or Beetle is the most famous of the old Volkswagens, it wasn't the only car the company produced following World War II. They broke into the sporty market in 1954 with a car designed by famed Italian design firm Carrozzerio Ghia and then sent to German coach builders Karmann who hand made the body. While they didn't sell nearly as well as the Beetles there were plenty on hand at the Porsche-Volkswagen Family Reunion. Here are some that were on hand.
