Not all vehicles are meant to simple get you from one place to another. Some are designed to do that as well as haul things that you need. Sure there were basic pick up trucks and working vans from the very beginning but in 1957 Ford introduced their first utility vehicle, the Ranchero which was part pick up but based on the Falcon station wagon. Chevy quickly followed with their El Camino. These became staples for many years and they, along with a few other specialty vehicles, made their presence known at the 6th Annual Cruisin' For A Cure For ALS show in Lawrenceburg. Here are some that were on display that day.
Whether they're the great classics, ultimate collectors, overlooked and forgotten, or even brand new cars I want to talk about them. Feel free to leave a comment or, better yet, drop me an email at turnerbudds@yahoo.com.
