The Fastiques Rod and Custom Car Club has a primary goal each year for the Pumpkin Run Nationals, that is to raise as much money for charity as they can. Their biggest charity is the Shriner's Children's Hospital for which, over the years, they've raised over $1.4 million. But that isn't their only charitable cause nor is it the only organization that benefits from the Pumpkin Run. The event also raises funding for The Honor Flight, the local Masons and Lions clubs and the Cleremont Northwest School District among others. To raise this money the Fastiques hold the largest old car event in the region, regularly drawing 2500 or more cars and trucks, all of which are from 1974 or before. Among the ones at the 47th annual Pumpkin Run was a 1968 GMC Suburban, a 1930 Packard, a 1964 Willys Champ pick up truck, a well worn Willys Jeep, a 1948 Chrysler, an Oldsmobile Special, and a 1942 DeSoto.
