The Most Popular Cars Were Popular At the Pumpkin Run

Following the end of World War II, Chevrolet became America's largest selling domestic automobile. For most every year it's sales eclipsed those of Ford, its closest rival. So it's easy to see that among the around 2500 vehicles that were on hand for the 47th Pumpkin Run Nationals plenty of them were wearing the Chevy "bow tie." Among those on hand was a Chevy II, a 1970 Monte Carlo, a 1940 Master 85, a Fleetline, a DeLuxe, a 1967 Impala, a Nova, and a Malibu.
