The Pumpkin Run Got Some Olds Action

Oldsmobile had a storied history, starting as one of the earliest brands of automobile in the United States having been formed in 1897 by Ransom E. Olds. In the early 20th Century it became part of General Motors and was eventually slotted just above Pontiac and Chevrolet and below Buick in the GM sales hierarchy. Unfortunately, Oldsmobile was a victim of GM cuts in the early 21st Century. Still, that didn't stop a large number of Olds cars from showing up at the 47th Pumpkin Run Nationals held at the Clermont County Fair Grounds and sponsored by the Fastiques Custom and Rod Car Club. Among the many that were on the field was a 442, a Hurst Olds that was released to commemorate it being the Indy Pace Car in 1974, a 1966 F-85, and some more 442s.
