Fords Rolled Into Lawrenceburg For Cruisin' For a Cure For ALS

Though General Motors, with their Chevrolet line, became the largest selling auto maker following World War II, the Ford Motor Company still managed to hover near the top in the ensuing decades with their wide variety of offerings. While everyone knows about the massive success of the Mustang that helped create the Pony Car craze, it wasn't the only such car sold by Ford. This Maverick was a follow-up Pony Car from FoMoCo and it happened to be one of the Ford cars on display at the Cruisin' For a Cure For ALS show that filled the streets of Lawrenceburg. I've always had a soft spot for Mavericks as I owned one in high school and into college. Also on display from Ford was a 1956 Crown Victoria, a 1978 Thunderbird, a 1966 Fairlane (which copied the name of Henry Ford's estate), a 1966 T-Bird, a 1973 restomod Thunderbird, and a 1952 Mainliner.
