Our car show season started a week early with the Cars and Courage event hosted by the Green Township VFW Post 10380. The show was held the last weekend in April, slightly ahead of our traditional first weekend in May start. But that's just fine with me because more than 80 fantastic vehicles came to the Diamond Oaks Career Campus to be part of this kickoff event. Among the cars on hand were a beautiful 1938 Chevrolet sedan, a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am, an all-original Ford F-100 pick up truck that has been in the same family since new and has only 25,000 original miles, a Chevy Camaro, a 1956 Bel Air, a 1966 GTO, and a 1941 Ford Super Deluxe.
