Wrapping Up Cars and Courage

The Cars and Courage show sponsored by the Green Township VFW Post 10380 saw more than 80 amazing cars roll into the lot of the Diamond Oaks Career Center on the last Saturday of April. Among them was a very rare Porsche 356 Speedster. Porsche built the first 356 in Austria starting in 1948, making 50 cars before moving shop to Germany in 1950. It's here where essentially four more generations of this iconic sports car were built through 1965. Also on display at Cars and Courage were a 1961 Chrysler Windsor sedan, a Pontiac Grand Prix, a 1966 Dodge Coronet station wagon, a 1966 Ford Thunderbird convertible, a Chevy Bolt, and a Ford F100 pick up truck. This wraps up the coverage for this show. As always, feel free to let me know what you thought of the vehicles on display by either leaving a comment (no ads, please) or by dropping me an email at turnerbudds@yahoo.com.
