A Lot Of Cars At the Pumpkin Run Wore Bow Ties

One of the unique things about the Pumpkin Run Nationals, other than every vehicle being from 1974 or before, are the "countries" that are set up and take up a large portion of the Clermont County Fair Grounds. There are three of these countries, each representing one of the Big Three American car manufacturers. Ford Country obviously is there for FoMoCo vehicles and MoPar Country is there for the Chrysler Corporation. The other country is a little different. While it represents all of General Motors it is called Bow Tie Country in reference to the Chevrolet logo. While there are more than just Chevy cars and trucks there that brand makes up a huge portion and a lot were on hand. Among them was a 1963 Biscayne, a Chevelle, a pair of Chevy II models, a Nova (note: Nova started out as a trim for the Chevy II and morphed into its own model), a Corvair, a 1966 El Camino, a 1967 Nova, and a 1947 Fleetmaster.
