As tragic as it may seem, not every veteran has someone to tend to their grave after their passing. That task falls to volunteer groups such as the Southwest Ohio VFW Memorial Team who go to make sure that the resting place for these deceased service men and women stay in good condition and are honored on holidays with flags and flowers. And while the work itself is voluntary, there are costs involved. That is why the Down Town Throwdown in Batavia raises money to benefit that memorial team in their efforts. This past season's event drew around 90 vehicles including a Chevy Camaro, a Trailblazer Super Sport, another Camaro, a Ford Thunderbird, a Dodge Challenger, and two Ford Mustangs.
Whether they're the great classics, ultimate collectors, overlooked and forgotten, or even brand new cars I want to talk about them. Feel free to leave a comment or, better yet, drop me an email at turnerbudds@yahoo.com.

A Worthy Cause Supported By the Down Town Throwdown
