There Were Some Foreign Invaders At the Pumpkin Run Nationals

The Pumpkin Run Nationals is a somewhat unique show in that it only allows cars and trucks from 1974 or before to enter. Still, for the 47th version of the event, the Clermont County Fair Grounds was filled with about 2500 vehicles. While the event is mainly geared toward American stock and custom automobiles, the host club, the Fastiques Rod and Custom Car Club is open to any ride that meets the age restriction. So for this past season's event there were a few foreign cars that rolled into the fair grounds. Among them was a cool little 1972 Honda 2600, a not quite stock 1950 Fiat, a Datsun 260 Z, a 1969 Fiat Spider, a totally unrestored and showing it 1960 Saab 93F, a very rarely seen Allard, and a 1964 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III that has appeared in several motion pictures, including the Burt Reynolds and Sammie Davis, Jr. classic Cannonball Run. (Just a bragging aside, I used this very car in an award winning short titled Corpse de Ballet.)
