A Show Brought Back To Support Charities

The Covid pandemic forced a lot of car show organizers to shut down. None wanted to attract groups that could potentially spread the disease. The Headin' For the Hill show in North College Hill was one of those shows. Unfortunately, the following year when conditions were better this show didn't return. But last year a group of volunteers brought the show back in an effort to raise money for various local children's charities as well as the Disabled American Veterans. This past summer saw a fantastic turnout as over170 cars and trucks lined the main street of North College Hill, all supporting those charities. Among the cars on display was a 1968 Chevy Impala, a 1963 Buick Electra 225 convertible, a 1966 Plymouth Fury III, a Chevrolet S-10 Cameo pick up truck, a 1968 Pontiac Firebird, a Cobra kit car, and a Buick Grand National.
