Chevelle At Mt. Orab

 

Introduced in 1964, the Chevy Chevelle was the company's mid size entry. Usually mid-sized cars are seen as family cars, which was the case for the Chevelle when it was introduced to take on the Ford Fairlane, but by 1965 they had dropped a 396 cubic inch V8 engine in it and the Chevelle grew into being a true muscle car. The car was immensely popular selling over 338,000in its first year alone. In all the Chevelle was produced through 1977 which is why they are usually on hand for old car events. The 11th VFW Post 9772 in Mt. Orab Village Park was no different. Here are the Chevelles that were on hand for this event.
